wir haben grossartige Neuigkeiten für euch!
Mit grossem Stolz können wir die Erteilung der Musterzulassung (08.12.2025) für unseren Evocopter ClassiX (Kennblatt Nr. 1017-25 1) durch den DULV vermelden!
Dafür hat das gesamte Team von Evocopter unermüdlich nun fast auf den Tag genau 5 Jahre hingearbeitet, gekämpft und vor allem durchgehalten!
Von der ersten (verrückten😉) Idee im Jahre 2020, über die Suche nach qualifiziertem Personal, der Einrichtung einer kompletten Prototypenwerkstatt mit CNC Fräsen und Drehmaschinen, der Entwurfs-, Design-, Konstruktionsphase, dem Aufbau eines weltweiten Lieferantennetzwerks, zum Inhouse-Prototypenbau, über alle Berechnungen und Dutzender Belastungstests zu limit, safety, ultimate loads und Hunderten von Flugerprobungsstunden unter VVZ, zur Abgabe tausender Seiten Zulassungsunterlagen an den DULV…dafür sind die 5 Jahre sprichwörtlich wie im Flug vergangen und diese vergleichsweise kurze Zeitspanne ist für ein derartig komplexes Projekt absoluter Weltrekord.
Dafür Chapeau und meinen ausdrücklichen Dank an mein „Evocopter Dream Team“, an David, Korbinian, Manni, Fritz, Martin und Hedy und natürlich an all unsere Lieferanten, Partner und Freunde, die uns stets mit Tat und Rat zur Seite standen.
Es war eine spannende, manchmal wilde, oft auch stressige Reise, die nur mit einem hochmotivierten und fähigen Team zu meistern war.
Wir haben gemeinsam jede Nuss geknackt, die die weltweit härteste UL Helikopterzulassungsvorschrift, die deutsche LTF-UL, für uns bereitgehalten hat.
Mein besonderer Dank gilt auch dem gesamten Team unserer Zulassungsbehörde, dem Deutschen Ultraleichtflug Verband DULV, insbesondere Herrn Jörg Seewald.
Wir wurden von der ersten Minute an kompetent begleitet, beraten und hatten im DULV einen fordernden, aber auch fähigen und erfahrenen Ansprechpartner.
Unsere künftigen Kunden erhalten mit dem ClassiX einen ausgereiften, sicheren und einfach zu fliegenden Helikopter. Wer einen Robinson R22 fliegen kann, beherrscht automatisch den ClassiX.
Wer umgeschult werden möchte oder wer die Sportpilotenlizenz (SPL-H) erwerben möchte, der kann das in der Evocopter eigenen Werksflugschule erledigen. Natürlich ist die kompetente Wartung unseres Helikopters hier im Werk jederzeit gewährleistet. Und was kann es besseres geben, als seinen Heli beim Hersteller und an seinem Geburtsort in Schongau warten und betreuen zu lassen.

Darüber hinaus haben wir mit unserem Versicherer attraktive Haftpflicht- und Kaskoversicherungsprämien ausgehandelt und kümmern uns um die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden auch nach dem Kauf eines ClassiX im Rahmen eines engen und partnerschaftlichen Miteinanders. So ist gewährleistet, dass die Investition in einen ClassiX und sein Werterhalt auf höchstem Niveau erhalten bleibt.
Der USP (Alleinstellungsmerkmal) unseres ClassiX in der UL Welt ist die Verwendung eines in Flugzeugen und Hubschraubern zigtausendfach bewährten Luftfahrtmotors – dem Lycoming O-360 J2A!
6 Liter Hubraum, 500NM Drehmoment, eine auf 145 PS limitierte Leistung mit reichlich Reserven, elektronischer Doppelzündung uvm. ist die allerbeste Lebensversicherung für Piloten des ClassiX und sorgt jederzeit auch unter erschwerten Bedingungen (hot&high, MTOW, harte Flugmanöver) für ausreichend Drehmoment und Leistung, um den Rotor im lebenswichtigen Drehzahlband zu wissen.
Dies, kombiniert mit bewährter, funktionierender Hubschraubertechnik, der stringenten Verwendung von Carbon und gefrästem Luftfahrtaluminium, sowie einzigartiger Features und Optionen, setzen neue Massstäbe in der Welt der UL Helikopter.

We have some great news for you!
We are very proud to announce that our Evocopter ClassiX (type certificate no. 1017-25 1) has been granted type certification (December 8, 2025) by the DULV!
The entire Evocopter team has worked tirelessly for almost exactly five years to achieve this, fighting and, above all, persevering!
From the first (crazy😉) idea in 2020, to the search for qualified personnel, the establishment of a complete prototype workshop with CNC milling machines and lathes, the drafting, design, and construction phase, the establishment of a global supplier network, in-house prototype construction, all calculations and dozens of stress tests for limit, safety, ultimate loads, and hundreds of flight test hours under VVZ, to the submission of thousands of pages of certification documents to the DULV…the five years have literally flown by, and this comparatively short period of time is an absolute world record for such a complex project.
For this, I would like to express my sincere thanks to my „Evocopter Dream Team,“ to David, Korbinian, Manni, Fritz, Martin, and Hedy, and of course to all our suppliers, partners, and friends who have always supported us with their actions and advice.
It was an exciting, sometimes wild, often stressful journey that could only be mastered with a highly motivated and capable team.
Together, we cracked every nut that the world’s toughest UL helicopter certification regulation, the German LTF-UL, had in store for us.
My special thanks also go to the entire team at our certification authority, the German Ultralight Flight Association (DULV). We received expert support and advice from the very beginning, and found the DULV to be a demanding but also capable and experienced partner.
With the ClassiX, our future customers will receive a mature, safe, and easy-to-fly helicopter. Anyone who can fly a Robinson R22 will automatically master the ClassiX.
Anyone who wants to retrain or obtain a sport pilot license (SPL-H) can do so at Evocopter’s own factory flight school. Of course, competent maintenance of our helicopter is guaranteed here at the factory at all times. And what could be better than having your helicopter serviced and maintained by the manufacturer at its birthplace in Schongau?
